DESCRIPTION:For the first time this year\, local dance-circus company Motionhouse who are based at the Town Hall\, will be performing WILD at EcoFest. \nWILD explores our relationship with the natural environment\, creating an urban forest in the everyday of the city. \nUsing the powerful physicality distinctive to Motionhouse\, performers use dynamic choreography\, acrobatic movement and hand-to-hand partnering to move through a forest of tall poles\, which forms the striking set for WILD. \nFrom the top of the pole\, life in the canopy looks down onto the forest floor – a dangerous world of unknown meetings. \nMore details will be released shortly!

DESCRIPTION:The Leamington Lantern Parade will take place Sunday 4th December 2022. \nSunday 4th December 2022\nMeet at 4.15pm at the Bandstand in the Royal Pump Room Gardens \nJoin us from 4.15pm at ‘The Bandstand’ in the Royal Pump Room Gardens for some family entertainment with west end singer David Harrop\, our fabulous stilt walkers and hula hoopers\, before the Lantern Parade sets off at approximately 5.00pm. The parade will meander around the Gardens before setting off on a short route to the Town Hall accompanied by carol singers\, music and stilt walkers. It also highlights the injustices that LGBT+ people still face locally\, nationally and around the world. Pride started as a protest and Warwickshire Pride is an event rooted in that protest. \nOf course\, it does have lots of fabulous things happening too. You can expect a rainbow marketplace of stalls\, live performances and entertainment on stage throughout the day\, food and drink from around the world\, fairground rides\, a trans chillout zone\, bi zone\, youth tent\, women’s tent\, a quiet zone\, dog show\, family area and much more. \nThe next Warwickshire Pride festival is taking place on Saturday 20th August 2022.
