We welcome in the New Year and continue our epically intimate stand-up comedy clubs at The Royal Pug.

This month featuring the stand-up comedy delights of Matt Price, Mark Cram and Karen Bayley!

Matt Price has performed in 30 countries, including Turkey, Cambodia, Australia and Russia. He is a big friendly guy from Cornwall. He likes to tell stories, he tells jokes and interacts with a crowd in a way that makes everyone in the room feel good.

Matt also hosts the “Conversations with Criminals” podcast in which he interviews retired criminals and ask them about their lives. It was described in Crime monthly magazine as a “podcast sensation”.

Matt’s stories are from the wilder side of life but surprisingly easy to relate to. Here are a few of the things that reviewers have said about his comedy :

Karen Bayley

Mark Cram

Mark is quite the all-rounder; with both a killer set and strong MCing chops. For the last few years Mark has been plying his comedy trade across the UK. Constantly evolving, usually unpredictable; he is garnering positive reactions everywhere he goes.

Mark thrills crowds with his tales of dead-end jobs, his family and being the less than grateful winner of Bedford Comedian of the Year.
